Wind Cries Low happens at the point in the game where two protagonist characters venture deep into the icy mountains. Separated and faced with death, they’re visited by Baraka, the God of Death, and must sing their heart’s song to earn another chance at life. One sings about losing his father and the other sings about her sick mother. Eventually, they’re reunited and confess their anxiety around losing one another as well.
